LFN Ribbons

Several months ago I made my way to Treadle Yard Goods in St. Paul, a fabric store I had heard about but never been to. It is a yummy store filled with all sorts of wonderful textile treats. Fortunately I had plenty of time to browse and got my fill of eye candy. One of the temptations, that I couldn't resist were some LFN ribbons by designer Laura Foster Nicholson. I knew I couldn't buy them all so I chose two, bluebirds and party cakes. I don't know what I am going to do with them just yet...sometimes things get too precious in my mind so I have a hard time actually cutting into a fabric, ribbon or even paper. I'll have to get over that, but until I do I will enjoy looking at my ribbons. Go to LFN textiles to see more gorgeous ribbons.

Thanks for the mention! I should point out that although the Tiny Cakes is my design, Bluebirds is an exclusive design by my partner and wholesale distributor, Renaissance Ribbons. I love the exposure for both of us, just wanted to give credit where it is due!

I love LFN ribbons. It is great that Laura replied to your post. Not long ago, I bought one of her bargain bags full of scraps. Some of them are quite small, but some are larger. I have been using them for little projects. Linden and I put some special ribbons on the felted heart bookmarks for the teachers for Valentine's, and I put some of the scraps on one of Linden's jackets. I love them.
