I'm the same - there's lots to keep me busy Your new designs are great - I always like the little details you put into your spirals. And your fireplace turned out beautifully. I've seen that done a lot on the home improvement shows on HGTV (not that we're binge watching ANY of that, or anything of the kind!). For myself, I'm pretty settled about my reasons...as a journal really where I share my bits and pieces of everyday life. I get to record my photos, thoughts, projects, etc. I actually read my past posts myself like reading an old diary. The process too of taking, uploading, editing photos and entries hopefully is keeping my mind working since I'm now "old". I enjoy reading your blog so I hope you will keep it up. When I first started my blog was simply a venue to let my away-from-home kids see what I might be working on. Nobody was more amazed than I was when I started getting a few followers! Once I started getting followers I guess I felt that I should post something every day in order to keep them interested and I put pressure on myself to keep creating so I had something to 'mumble' about. Maybe that was a good thing because it kept me working - but - it was a strain sometimes. Finally I realized that I really could post whenever I wanted to and the world wasn't going to come to an end if I missed a day (or three!). Now I seem to have pretty much settled into a three times/week schedule and that works for me. I don't get bothered if I don't keep up - I figure the people that enjoy my blog will come back and if they don't - I won't know about it anyway. Any given day can see some crazy quilting, some landscape work, some knitting, and (horrors) even the occasional rant. All this rambling on to say, I'm glad you're coming back!!!!!!!!!Magpie's Mumblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852241848575954128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6785837102334275905.post-87431280904296806192018-10-19T21:56:20.660-05:002018-10-19T21:56:20.660-05:00Pretty!Pretty!Perpetual Chocoholichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09007016172774995000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6785837102334275905.post-82846192758473903602018-04-10T21:34:19.703-05:002018-04-10T21:34:19.703-05:00French Knots, once I figured out the secret of doi...French Knots, once I figured out the secret of doing them, are one of my favourite stitches.
